When is INBO 2027?
HBCSE lists 31 January 2027, 1:30–3:30 pm IST for the Indian National Biology Olympiad.
How do I qualify?
Selection follows the current national Olympiad rules and NSEB performance. Read the official selected-student list when released. Qualifiers must register separately with HBCSE to obtain their INO admit cards.
Preparing for a different kind of assessment
Use authentic INBO papers and model solutions to understand how the examination expects you to interpret evidence and explain biological reasoning. The preparation scope remains broadly senior-secondary biology, but the depth and presentation of problems can differ.
- Work through one past question carefully before looking at the model solution.
- Identify the data that support each conclusion.
- Rewrite your explanation so that every step is justified.
- Review the relevant biology when your reasoning stops.
